Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operations of client eLab training environment and related data network.
- Responds to work requests.
- Monitors eLab network status and troubleshoots problems as required.
- Assists with installation of new equipment and changes to existing equipment.
- Acts as first level escalation of all network issues.
- Works with internal resources and external vendors to resolve outstanding problems and issues.
- Ensures adequate documentation and records are kept for all systems.
- Must be flexible with work hours and willing to work some weekend and overtime as needed.

Technical Skill Requirements
- Must possess hands-on experience with VMware ESX/ESXi v4.1 to v5.1 and vMotion.
- Must have 5 years of in-depth experience writing and modifying PERL scripts.
- Must have solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows XP/7/8 versions.
- Must have hands-on experience installing, configuring and supporting a variety of Cisco LAN/WAN platforms, Cisco firewalls and SSL/VPN, Cisco Wireless and Cisco VoIP.
- Experience with DNS/DHCP and routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and their application in a global company.
- Must have outstanding troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or 7+ years of Network Administration experience.
